School Improvement Advisory Committee
The School Improvement Advisory Committee is a board appointed committee that shall include students, parents, teachers, administrators, and representatives from the local community that may include business, industry, labor, community agencies, higher education, or other community constituents. To the extent possible, committee membership shall have balanced representation of the following: race, gender, national origin, and disability. The School Improvement Advisory Committee makes recommendations to the board based on the committee analysis of school performance.

District Lead Learning Team
The District Lead Learning Team includes teacher representatives from each school building’s Lead Learning Team. The District Lead Learning Team works as a representative group for instructional and school climate/culture improvement. The District Lead Learning Team is responsible for the development, advisement, and implementation of the Three-Year Improvement Plan (3YIP). The team meets every other month throughout the school year.

Public Relations Advisory Committee
The Public Relations Advisory Committee is a board appointed committee to help build and grow the public perception of the Boone Community School District. The committee will be creating a long term public relations plan to move the district in a positive direction in the coming years. The committee consists of representatives from faculty, staff, students, board members, community members, and community businesses.
